The idea for Money After Five blog started when my husband lost a job he had worked at for eighteen years. He came home for lunch one day and when he returned he learned the company he went to work for in the morning had gone out of business.  He was out of a job that day without any warning.

This experience confirmed to us it is a smart thing to create a home business income when you do have a job. You can work a nine to five job and still create income from home.  There are no guarantees that you will have your job tomorrow.

The best time to start a home based business and begin earning additional household money is today.  You may already have a home based business but there is no need to put all your eggs in one basket.

If you are not opposed to earning money from more than one source then stay tuned.
